Out of Ten |
| |
| How many toe nail clippings can you account for when you are done clipping your toe nails? Do you find them all? And if not, how do you feel about the missing clippings? Do you search for them? If you spy the missing one after you start to walk away, do you pick it up? Leave it there? Do you just kind of push it out of sight with a toe? Have you ever bitten your toe nails? ( I am just curious) I checked to make sure no one had asked this. And surprisingly, I found no discussions about it. | | | | | |

| | Probably only 5 out of the 10. If I can see them without getting down on my knees I will pick up the strays. Otherwise they stay until I vaccuum again. Stiff if someone walks on them. EEEwwwww no I have never ever nor will I ever bite my toenails. Now I may nibble someones toes after they have bathed, but Yuk no biting toenails. | | | | | | |

| | 5 out of ten huh? that's not so bad. I dont think i ever bit mine either Goodie. I wonder what the world record would be for the flight of a toenail clipping as it snapped into the air after being clipped? | | | |

| | I guess we all can remember some kid or another who used to cut his toenails and bring them to grade school to nibble on during arithmetic class. Those kids must have had serious vitamin deficiencies. But I love technology, so I bought one of those clippers that traps the clippings until you are done and then neatly deposits them in the trash. How about that? Congratulations on finding a new topic, I think. | | | | | | |

| | Oooh,I have not seen clippers like that, that's a good idea! What vitamins does one find in toe nail clippings drannhh? I have heard of pregnant women craving sawdust, but I don't know the reason for that other.. hee, no i'll have to go investigate! | | | |

| | Sid and Trans, don't feel bad. Maybe you didn't go to public school, lol, or maybe you were paying too much attention to your studies to have noticed. There must have been some good reason for this lapse in your education. | | | |

| | Hi CurlyRed,:) I do my best to find all of mine, and usually place a towel on the floor to 'try' to catch them. After this, I flush them down the toilet. If I see any strays, I'll pick them up by hand, but they're easy to miss. No, I've never been a toenail biter ... yuck, or a fingernail biter either, for that matter. I think Transdisc started a discussion about toenail clippings, a long time ago, but it wasn't the same as this. | | | | | | |

| | Have you ever gnawed to far? How far have you spit one , transdisc? Do you keep a chart? Have you ever tried skipping them across the water? | | | |
Transdisc (18483)

| | Yes, CurlyRed, there has been occasion when I have gnawed too far. Fortunately, it wasn't my own toes. I don't keep a chart. I have a special measuring tool that I use to keep track of such things. I've never tried skipping my toenails across the water. I only like to skip stones across the water, or to skip down the street. | | | |

| | That's really a good discussion. You are right, it,s the first time I ever seen it lol. I maybe find the half of my toe nail after clipping it. I think the only one who found them all is my boyfriend because he use a kleenex when he does it lol When I was young, I was bitting my toe nails. When I'm thinking of it right now, it's just disgusting lol | | | | | | |

| | Actually it never occured to me to do an inventory on my toenail clippings. I just sweep or vaccum up after i'm done and don't give it another thought. Have i ever bitten my toes? not that I can recall. Sounds a bit gross, really. I'll be curious to see how others here respond. | | | | | | |

| | I MUST gather all the clippings. I count to make sure that there is ten. I pile them up as I cut them and keep them in a neat little stack. I get pleasure out of cutting the big toes nail. I haven't cut them too short in a long time but have in the past. I don't care to repeat that again. As far as fingernails, I'll admit that I follow Trans method of biting them off and spitting them as far as I can. I often bite them too short and regret it later, but the thrill of spitting the nail outweighs the pain of a nail that is bitten too short. I cannot bite my toenails but my son can. Bite his toenails that is. Its not very much fun to watch, but he seems to enjoy it. | | | | | | |

| | Yes, the little ones do seem to enjoy biting them. How do you get them to stack?Do they not fall all over? | | | |

| | I use the big toenail as a base. I then stack the smallest nail on top of it and continue from smallest to largest on each foot. I take the second foots big toenail and it goes on top of the first stack only the second foots nails are stacked the opposite way so they mesh together as I stack them. This ensures that my stack will remain upright. I'm really fun at a party too. No, really I am... | | | |
