Have you ever heard of Magnotherapy???? What are your thoughts on it if you have |
| |
| I have recently started Magnotherapy. As a sufferer of chronic pain for more than a year now I heard about magnotherapy and decided what the heck... it can't hurt. Here is a brief synopsis that I got from this website: http://www.magnetictherapyinfo.com/ Magnetic Therapy: A natural method used to relieve pain, restore energy and enhance sleep. It has proven to be a safe, effective, economical, and simple to use form of alternative therapy. Magnetic therapy is thousands of years old yet holds great promise for the future. Magnets have been scientifically proven to enable the body to regain its self-healing electromagnetic balance naturally. Strong evidence suggests that magnetic therapy may help to: Relieve Pain, Reduce inflammation restore natural energy, increase blood circulation, prevent or reverse infection, promote metabolic processing of toxins and support the healing process. Magnetic therapy is a non-invasive treatment method with a very high success rate and has much to offer in both prevention and treatment of chronic ailments. Have you ever heard of this type of therapy? Have you tried it? What is your take? | | | | | |

| | I have tried the magnetic bracelet for my hands and it seems to work, I am thinking of getting real ones the one I have was bought at a $1.00 shop so it probably isn't real but it does seem to work,I have a lot of pain in my hands and some days numbness but if I put on the bracelet it seems to ease. Have a great day! | | | | | | |

| | I bought, for a fairly inexpensive price, soft stretchy wrist guards with magnetic threads that I wore at night when I was having some trouble. I believe I got them through a catalog called Dr. Leonard's. I felt like they helped, and I could wear them at night, which is when I had the most trouble. | | | |

| | Glad to hear that it works for you. I have similar results with the braclet that I have, except I wear mine all the time. I am thinking of buying some beads online and making my own. I will let you know if I do. | | | |

| | I looked online at Dr. Leonard's, and the wrist guards were sold in the magnetic section, but they actually were made with copper thread. Magnetic beads are even at Wal Mart, I think. That sounds like a great idea. | | | |

| | I have heard of magnetic therapy. I did have some wrist guards that had magnetic threads when I was having trouble with what my Doctor thought was carpal tunnel (I did not agree) I did not use them enough to know that they provided or did not provide relief, but it kind of makes sense to me. I do have some pain issues right now that I believe it would not hurt to treat with magnets. I will look at your link and I think I may also do a web search for the exact product I want. I look forward to hearing what your results are, so I hope you continue to post. | | | | | | |

| | Here in Baja, we have a lot of alternative clinics and medical therapies. I've heard both good and horror stories. I haven't heard of mangotherapy. But I'll ask around. By the way, is what you're suffering from called fibromyalga? Isn't that the name for chronic pain or is it something else you have? | | | | | | |

| | No, I do not suffer from fibromyalga. The chronic pain that I suffer if from degenerative disc in my back. It causes pain in several areas of my body including my lower back, pelic area and in my legs. I am 30 years old so the doctors are affraid to do surgery on me to replace my disc's because I am so young. My pain is tolerable at this point, but this time last year I could barely move. It will eventually be that bad again in time, so I am looking for alternative things to help. | | | |

| | I haven't personally used the magnets, but a friend of mine has used them for years with very good results. Over the years, she has injured her shoulders, knees, neck, ankles ... I guess just about everything. She recently reinjured one of her knees and used her magnets to help relieve the pain. | | | | | | |

| | I've heard a little about this kind of therapy. I believe it works. I haven't used it a whole lot but I do have a bracelet. My grandma uses this kind of therapy and she seems to like it also. I'm glad that it relieves some of your pain. You will have to get a magnetic everything. They have necklaces also. I wonder if the necklace would help for headaces? I hope you get to try the back brace and I hope it works for you. Have a great day. | | | | | | |
