I will probably never understand how people can be so totaly stupid to do sh*t like this, almost regardless of age. Why dont they like get a thought or feeling that its dangerous and can(probably will) end their lives. Ive done alot of crazy stuff in my life, but i have never tried anything near as nobrainer as this. The only thing near this is thought of suicide, however i didnt do it because i enjoy crap like that, but because of depression.

I have had the luck to not have any of my friends do this, but if they had id beat the snot out of them until they get to their sences. Better to do that than to be on their funeral because some damn game, left with grief and filled with anger because i didnt do anything to stop it from happening.

no, i have not ever seen my children acting like this before, and i had better not either. they would both be in serious trouble. but i have heard of this choking game before thou. it is ashame that eighty two children have died this way. my boys get into it, like they will try to hit each other somewhere or act like they are going to kick each other or something like that, even when they act like that they get in trouble. act the same way at home as you do in school, no hitting, no kicking, and keeping your hands and feet to yourself. if they cannot do this, then they both wind up in their bedrooms until they can act correctly again.

No, I don't know any kids that do this and I am so grateful that I don't, although I didn't even know what a Emo kid was until several weeks ago when of all people, my 11 year described to me what it meant. Has our world sunk to such depths that our children feel compelled to slice themselves and tie ropes around their necks to find any pleasure in this life. What does that say to us as members of society and as parents? Thank you for this story as it only serves to encourage me to tell my children I love them all the more and make them feel needed in a world when apparently many don't receive the same blessing.

I cannot believe that this would be so popular. I asked my son about it, he is 14. He had never heard of it. That is really scary.

No, I don't know of anyone who admits to doing this. I just cannot comprehend it really. The fact that you would be cutting off your air supply would be enough to stop me. If I could not breathe I would panic until I could. I just don't get this at all. Why would anyone risk dying for this thrill. How stupid and sad.
