Dog Fighting....Are you for or against it?  |

 Lately you hear more & more about dog fighting. These people train these dogs to become professional blood thirsty fighters. Then they place bets on who will win. It's a vicious, cruel sport. One day I was watching Animal Planet & this NY cop was being interviewed re/ one of these dog fights. He said that there were these parents that actually took their children to see these dog fights & that as a cop he'd seen a lot of things but he was horrified by what he saw at one of these events. This just sickens me. There should be harsher laws against people like this. In my opinon this goes beyond animal abuse & they need to put a stop to it. How do you feel about Dog fights?

She feels like a daughter to me and I have 3 sons (human) and I would hate to see them fight too. Whoever thought that dog fighting was a good way to make a profit are very mean people.

It's one of the cruelest forms of animal abuse. There should definitely be harsher laws against it, and harsher punishments for the people involved!

People who do this should be thrown in a ring with an angry pit and see how they like it. I feel they should get a huge fine and at least 5 years jail time for each offence.
