|  Fishing season is getting close'r and close'r! And I haven't even dusted off any of my fishing rods & reels. Some of them even have lures from last year on them. I will have to get started on that real soon because Flounder season opens April first!

I am no longer getting to fish, but I always did like it. My Father took me fishing quite a bit and when I was very young in the early morning hours.
I did once get to fish for trout in the Lake District in England and it was my first time fly fishing. Great memories and something I know I would still enjoy!
Fishing can be very relaxing and I like to be out in nature!

| |  I know what you mean. We need to put new line on our poles and get them ready for the season. We need to go and buy our license for this year also. We are waiting for the weather to warm up here in Indiana though. It is still winter time here. Then we have to get through spring a little then fish.

| |  you have a season? Here in Florida we can fish year round. Of course, it rains a lot here so we have to watch the weather closely before going. I caught 3 redfish, 1 snook and a trout on Saturday!

| |  Same here retiredtvguy. We didn't even get to pull the boat out of the boatport last year. This year we're hoping to spend some time on the water. We have to travel a couple of hours to get to the lake and it seems like the fees are like everything else, so high, but it's still worth it.
We try to pack in as much time as we can, but there seems like there's always something else going on.
I'm soooo ready to enter into retirement....My husband has 18 more months to work. After that, move over,,,,'cause we're goin' fishing a LOT....
