Oh, this Easter candy is killing me!!!

I have had the ones from other seasons - Christmas tree and pumpkin-shaped ones but they just aren't as good as the Easter egg ones. Don't know why, but I just love 'em!

I don't know about making my own, I'd eat most of the ingredients before it was finished.

That's awesome that you make a healthy candy. What you add is definately healthy!

The regular homemade ones are easy! Just add peanut butter, confectioners sugar, and cocoa or use melted chocolate chips to make it easier! Some add butter too, but you really do not have to. Maybe that is why you like the Easter ones better, there is added butter in them! The store-bought ones might have transfat, or hydrogenated fat in them. We know it better as margarine or lard!

I remember when my kids were younger, I'd go to Sam's Club and buy a HUGE box of them. And eat most of them before Easter, then I'd have to go get more!!! I just can't resist them and I'm glad they're "finally" gone:)

I was so proud of myself for not scarfing them all down - which is exactly what I wanted to do! I think my son and husband each got one out of the whole 2 boxes... I have a LOT of empty wrappers in the car though.

I only got one (small) box of chocolates and a bag of green m&m's for Valentines Day, so these things are really just working on me!!!

When I eat it, I just have to walk an extra lap in the morning... They are just tooo good to resist:)

Oh, when it's half price, you just HAVE to get them...

I can understand why you don't like them any more - just means more for me though:)

I love the original cadbury eggs, but haven't had one in ages. I could eat them up pretty quickly too.

Hey, if it's got sugar in it, I'm all over it. I do have to slow it down though because I've lost 10 lbs (30 more to go) and I don't want to gain them back!

The cadbury cream eggs?! I LOVE those they are SO good! I can't eat as many of those in one sitting as I can the caramilk ones because they are so sweet. I started working in a convenience store and gained thirty out of the fourty pounds I had lost from eatng all kinds of chocolate. But I think I mentioned that in my alst post (hey gotta get my fifty words out!) You are more than welcome to eat my peanut butter cups! I would mail you a slew of them if I had any haha. I gave up chocolate for lent to try to lose some of the weight that I gained. One pound gone, thirty one to go. -sigh-

I have recently lost 10 lbs - 30 more to go - and if I keep eating these eggs it'll never happen. I just finished a small bag of m&m's so I'm done with chocolate for another 10 pounds or so!

congratulations on the ten pounds! I am currenly up to a total loss of two. haha. I went to the store last night to get pills for a migraine and ended up, in my painful not thinking state, buying a small blueberry pie and then eating it all at home. It was sooo good tho!
Baked goods are my weakness and the store about 3 minutes from my house has its own bakery. I am so going to be two hundred pounds by the time I move out of here.
Maybe I should have a, no baked goods for 8 more pounds rule, like your no chocolate for ten more pounds rule.

That's a great idea! I do believe we need to have some sweets or whatever it is we like, but make them a reward for being good - and try not to go overboard. I'll have just 2 peanut butter eggs after the next 10 lbs, not two boxes!

Oh, I didn't even bat an eye. I saw the display - 2 for $4 - and BAM!! In the cart 2 boxes went. Hopefully, I wont be buying any more though...

Oh, no, like I told dfn I didn't even think twice about it! Now, if I lived somewhere that didn't have them, that would help out a bit. You think I can bunk with you for another month or so until Easter is over???
