What Computer is best?  | |  Im thinking of getting a new desk top PC, This one is a gateway and at first was a horror before I modified it. I have always liked HP stuff, my wifes HP has lasted a long time, still kick'n, cant kill that thing. BUT!
Here's what I want to do with a new one. I want tun's of memory, I have a PC game that's a rail road simulator and when driving the train the scenery always loads too slow, I have been limited with how much scenery I can put in because some of it never loads, the train could pass right through a town and none of the buildings would appear. Also I am a musician and would like to record right on the computer and burn my own CD's. What PC and what software do I need for all this? What is the best video & audio card? What is the best processor these day's?
