Help! Smallville is Dying!  | |  Ok. Up till about the fifth or sixth season, I was a devoted Smallville fan. Maybe it's just that I haven't seen all the episodes lately, and a few bad apples have seemed to ruin my 'goddess on the pedestal' image I had going. This is mostly because working third shift at Wawa doesn't leave me a lot of time for catching this episode on Thursdays.
Anyway, what's your take on the direction that Smallville is headed? Are you satisfied, or did you have something better in mind? Care to suggest a way of improving this series?

I think a few things are dragging it down lately, one that the core characters as cheesy as some could be are disappearing, with Clark's parents gone, and the announcement that Lex is leaving at the end of this season. I would not be surprised if there were more leaving. These are all young actors and they are probably eager to get on to other acting opportunities. I am excited for the episode with the return of Pete, even if it is only one episode. I think also they have drug on this Lana relationship too long, we are on the 7th season, and there is nothing happening with the Lois relationship yet. The show won't be around 7 years from now, so they had better start building somethign now.

| Gesusdid (987) | 5 months ago |  yeah they need to get that fire going between Lois and Clark lana is just taking up airtime you know like no matter what they both do it always gets no where, and yeah everyone rooting for Pete to come back its as if he fell of the face of the Earth .., i was kinda disapointed of the Bizzaro episodes like there was sometihng missing with it, its as if the story was rushed ..he just killed him with a crystal and thats it?
