3. ljegbers (5266) | 6 months ago | Hello dear Bala. I think our mistakes are really a free education. When we admit when they happen it does make us stronger. We are overstepping our pride and get a lesson on being humble at the same time. It's easy to ignore the fact that a mistake happened, but it takes courage and strength to correct it, especially when it requires us to apologize to another.

balasri (5937) | 6 months ago | 'Easy to ignore and needs strength to admit' is a fine way of expressing it.Thanks Laura.

5. sang2k2 (685) | 6 months ago | i vote for strong, whats the harm in admitting a mistake if at all aperosn has already relaised it if for the sake of formality than it makes no sense as than admitting the mistake or saying sorry is just a formality and merely uttering of words. i feel admitting mistake makes the person who has borne the effect of the same may feel better and evn the person making mistake will feel good too.

|
balasri (5937) | 6 months ago | Right.A person who is very sure of himself alone can apologize. That is the strength of him.

10. stephcjh (11204) | 6 months ago | I think admitting my mistakes makes me stronger. I think it will make us weaker if we do not own up to them.

elmiko (864) | 6 months ago | Theres a saying that if you don't change things will never change. If your in denial or stubborn than theres alot of people like that. Some people might even live there whole life without ever admitting there mistakes. People can be that stubborn. People may think there stronger by not admitting there mistakes but its the opposite. This reminds me of Fidel Castro who recently stepped down. He just let his country crumble while everybody suffered around him still refusing to admit no wrong. Cubans have been banned from google and yahoo search engines and are not even allowed to visit the tourist hotels in there own country. He let everybody suffer basicly because of his selfish narrow minded beliefs.
| |
|
|
stephcjh (11204) | 6 months ago | Amen to that. That is for sure. that is awful that he let everyone suffer. i wish them nothing but the best now. I think we should all have younger people to hold an office. Someone with knowledge of the way the world is now and not like it was years ago because they are not up to date on what the world really needs now. they need someone who can keep up with the pace of this ever changing innovative world. We need the same in the U.S.
