Wrong Calculation of responses! email this discussion to a friend?

Hi Friends!
Today I would like to have your opinion on how the responses are calculated on mylot?Does the number in the bracket along with our login name suggest the number of response we have got on our discussion.If it is so then although I have got 81 responses it is just showing 31 response.Have you gone through this friends?Please Reply?
