Do you think cell phones should be banned while driving?  

Yes i am totally agree with you Pinkon4u Cell phones should be banned while driving. In India there are lot sof accidents happened every year because of that only and still our Govt. is thinking how to stop that. This is the high time we all should take the responsibility to make this banned.

Well, Pink, considering truckers for instance, they have cb radios in their trucks, their big rigs and are talking all the time, then no, I do not think they should be bannes, cell phones, for there is no difference between that and talking on the cellphones with a headset. It wouldn't be fair to business people who need to discuss their business on the way to work, etc, but I do agree, people should get the phones out of their hands while driving. It can cause an accident.

we cant avoid it,,some people needs it for important or emergency purposes,,here in korea it is banned esp,on bus driver but they used earphone.

It should be and it's actually banned in my city already. using cellphones while driving can cause accidents on the road. I noticed drivers who keep on calling or texting while driving as if they showing off. headsets are really prohibited because obviously you can't hear signal or upcoming big trucks behind you if there's something blocking yo9ur hearing.

not totally banned whilst driving. i think the best answer to that is having a bluetooth or a messenger in our cellphones. Because business is always be business so for those who cant do a multi tasking.. brains on the business and eyes on the road.. dont use your cellphone whilst driving.

I agree with you. Nowadays, when you are driving, once your cell starts ringing, you are so excited to answer the call irrespective of the urgency of the call. Instead of banning the cell phones while driving, i think jammers should be installed inside the vehicle to ensure that once you are inside the vehicle, you are not to be reached nor can you reach anyone.

yeah i do think so and they are banned while driving in my city,i don attend calls while i drive.i d rather enjoy speeding ma bike than attend the call

Sure, I think it should be banned. When you are driving and meanwhile talking the phone, you can focus yourself very well. It is likely to have an accident. It's a dangerous behavior for yourself and others.
