Ah I know that quote well and often live by it but eventually the body (and even mind) say "Give me sleep or give me death".

I have in fact been dwelling on immortality recently again.

I was thinking death and immortality. Suddenly I wondered if it would be an unbearable thing when you want to die but can't die.

Death may indeed become a gift.

That is something I've thought much about myself. One example in my own life, years back my Grandfather died of TB, 2 months later Grandma commited suicide. Some say that is horrible and I must say it hurt a lot my Mother the most. Both my grandparents were the dearest greatest people in the world but for over 50 years they had done everything together - without Grandpa Grandma was like a half a person. Which was better for her - obviously she felt death. But then I look at many people, particularly elderly who can't do the things they are used to doing and they set in a room alone and wish for death - for them it would be a blessing but yet they see no other option but living this non-existant life.

I really don't want to be an invalid when I am old. If euthanasia is legalized in my country, I would have signed up for it.

Heard of AMD? I wanted to sign up for that too - but that's before I found out broke me have to PAY A DAMN DOCTOR to witness my signing. To hell with doctors.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I can imagine how irked you must be for being locked out of a place that you supposedly have access. I can't really speak for the admin on this site - I don't know any of them - not even as an imaginary character.:P

Well, I pored through that long Q&A discussion by Crash and he sort of tacitly concurred that many queries end up unanswered. The reason given was that there are simply too many queries to be handled by the limited staff - if they handle them all, nothing else can be got done.

I guess the situation may really be as bad as described - given how many members we have here and how most new people don't/can't find the FAQs useful.

Big brother... sigh. Back to that topic again, eh? I hope not. Life would be so tedious if I keep looking over my shoulder - aren't we glad we aren't celebrities? Life is sure much worse for them. No wonder "half" of them go half-crazy lol.:P

Indeed my friend, I am quite a "veteran" like you too. I have been through the stages more than once (lol).

In fact, I can't even be sure how long my newest comeback will last. 1 day? 1 month? 2 weeks? I will need the support of all my friends to keep me "excited" and I hope I will reciprocate with the same impetus.=)
