lost the show:why do you think kate has erin?

the ending was a shock to me too, i thought the baby was hers too..

maybe claire died or was left in the island and the baby needed to leave the island..since kate is one of the oceanic six, maybe she volunteered to take erin back..but that does not explain why jack won't have anything to do with kate and erin though...

LOST is officially the most convoluted tv series ever..the story has now strayed away from the island itself in my opinion which was the basic premise that made me love the show in the first place..:(

I loved last week's episode. I can't remember one episode that didn't have me gasping at the last second! So great!

As for Aaron/Erin (however you spell it) I have not idea. I keep thinking that for Kate to have him, Claire must be dead.

I thought the "baby" Kate kept referring to had to have been an "infant" less than a year old. So, it was annoying and surprising when she first walked into the room and there was a child...probably not even a toddler...who could speak in a full sentence. Then, to find out he was Aaron...that blew my mind!

So, back to your question, either Claire is dead or things got so dicey on the Island when the 6 left that Claire gave Aaron to Kate to keep him safe back in the real world. Perhaps, there was room for only 6 people or, if the rest of the people are alive, they had to stay behind to do something and the exit was a one time only chance. I don't know but, I sure am looking forward to finding out!

OMG I was so shocked by this. I really don't think that Kate would name her son Aaron so in my mind it has to be Claire's Aaron. SO what happened to Claire and why doesn't Jack want to see the baby?? I mean it seems obvious that Kate wants to be with Jack and obvious that Jack loves her so it has to be something big keeping them apart.

I was thinking that something happened to Claire on the island (maybe she dies in a later episode), and that Kate had to take Aaron. I kinda thought something was up when they showed "Kate's son" for the first time - I thought "he doesn't really look like Kate at all". Well, that thought was settled pretty quickly!

That surprised me too!
Claire didn't get out of the island???or she died?because of jack somehow????i'm hooked on lost,,,
OH~~~~i'm eager to find out!

can't you just picture it? claire, either dying and asking kate to take the Baby with her and protect him? Or perhaps since she was going to LA to presumably give the baby up (her story) Wants to stay on the Island? who knows but this story line is a doozy!
