Disabled Man Dumped from Wheelchair? What do you think?  

No, I haven't heard about that. Was there just cause to believe the man wasn't disabled? Any indication that it was just a hoax? I mean I can't phanthom, a police officer just for kicks doing this, with out some reason behind it.

I heard about that and I find it very disturbing. Instead of dumping him like that they should have really looked into why he was in wheelchair instead of just assuming that he was faking it. They did violate his rights and he has all the right to sue if he has too. No one who is disabled should be thrown out of their chair like that. It was wrong of them to do this.

This story happened in Florida, of course. It seems like Florida has a lot of issues with their law enforcement. How many people do you know that drive around in their handicapped adapted car, in a wheelchair that are not actually disabled. I do it at least once a week, I mean come on give me a break this cop was peaved because she told him to stand up so she could search him and he said I told you already stupid I cant stand up. So after a few times of him calling her stupid she got real mad and ordered him to be dumped out of his chair where the assault on this man continued. Now he has had several traffic violations in the past so he is well known to the police, maybe they should revoke his drivers license rather than roughing him up.

This is totally against the disabled man's rights and favor. The police officers were very brutal and harsh in treating him. If he had done wrong, he should not be treated like that. He deserves some respect as a person and human being like all of us. He should be given enough chances.
