Which do you prefer - minivan or SUV?  | |  Looking in to getting something different, was just curious what some thoughts are. I like the room of minivans and the ease of seating the kids. Plus they ride really nice. On the other hand SUV's like Escapes and Sante Fe's are about the same height and about as easy to put a car seat in. The four door Contour we have is just too low to easily put the car seat in and out. Gas mileage is of course a concern. What do you have and why did you purchase? Lets take money out of the equation becaus eI have found both in good price ranges used.

| | | | | | | | 1.  whywiki (3100) | 2 years ago |  I hate them both to tell the truth and would buy neither. I think they are an annoyance on the road. They block the view of normal cars, they burn too much gas and you can't see passed them when they are parked on the road and you are trying to pull out.
