Bonny Prince Harry

I actually read that yesterday too and i even posted a discussion about this same subject...i knew that he was in the military but i didn't think that they would actually make him go to afghanistan or anything like that because he is a prince and all..I mean i thought they might let him into the military and all but i didn't really think that they would ever send him anywhere...but look out if something happens afgan will have england on them then big time...

There were about four pages in our paper dedicated to Harry! So yes, definitely over zealous and yes this can be seen as compromising his position. Regardless of his royalty he still chooses to fight and put himself in harms way, where he could use his royalty as a get out card but he doesn't. I really admire him and I know this beloved mum Diana will be looking down on him with great admiration. He truly is a remarkable, tenacious young man who has no airs or graces and wants to be treated like any other soldier. The thought of him getting caught or killed by enemy forces doesn't bear thinking about, he still has to be protected because I suspect their is a big tag on his head!

Oh of course, the media has no boundaries when it comes to reporting, they don't care who it hurts, as long as they got their story...>. <

I do world and he probably is cussing up a storm LOL the poor lad, I mean, he is like, can't I do anything? heheh Still, perhaps maybe his Father may be pleased he is not there anymore:)* Interesting that to be so famous does not allow a certain freedom that so many of us take for granted, isn't it world? Oh I definitely think the media is overzealous in reporting things! They are constantly saying, "But the public has a right to know this or that!" Bull. When it puts someone in danger to be reporting things like that, they need to keep their mouths shut and turn off the cameras.

people just don't care what could happen to another, especially journalists, i am not saying all journalists are like this, i know a few that are nice, but they have to do "what the people want" and well i guess it tends to get others either in trouble or killed, I'd be proud to know that my son wanted to serve his country no matter what he is. Anyways the prince is probably poed because well he was taken out of the place he wanted to be, and felt he needed to be because he would have been a i guess liability to himself and comrads, did the papers say anything about EXACTLY which troop he was in? i know even if it is general people would still go looking for him.

yes, allowing the media to talk about prince harry alerted the taliban to the fact that an air to the western throne was there along side of them.

I think Prince harry and of course Prince William should be a perfect example of everybody in the world. Even they from a big kingdom family, they still have a care with an ordinary people and they really concern about real world life kind. We should follow their kindness.

Absolutely! I'm telling you when I saw that on television I was shocked, fearful and extremely proud of him as if he was mine.I guess he showed all the naysayers there is more to him than smoking, drinking and girls.

It was always the way that the king would lead the nation into battle so i think if the war is being fought in teh name of the country then he should be there. However he only ended up in the military as he's not clever enough to be anything else, he had to have help to make it through an art exam. i don't like that fact that the media can be cowered in silence that easily, after all the blackout lasted for 10 weeks, but the whole situation is between a rock and a hard place. It's always going to be difficult for royalty to have anything like a normal life.
