|  I love Gilligan's Island it is a way for me to travel back and remember when times were good when things were a simplier world. The other day I was watching and seeing how this "group" of strangers managed to survive and in a way become a little community of thier own. So my question is if you were to be found in this situation could you manage with the other 6 and if you could pick what kinds of people the other 6 would be like like profession ect. In this day and age could you think of 6 that could be survival ready that could survive without our phones and computers and be able to build and feed ourselves on what nature provided us ect.. Any thoughts on this???

I like the sentiment of your discussion though life was a lot simpler then. Not as much to do, businesses were more like co-operatives and when you finished for the day you had finished. Now with computers, cell phones, email, instant messengers life has gotten more hurried and we seem to have a struggle just to cope and not be moving ahead.
I swapped income for lifestyle a long time ago.

| |  This is interesting scenario MM and yes I could and would manage..I am sure I would be doing all I could to manage the others LOL bossy and in charge and trying to provide and do for all of them, as that is my nature..Mama bigtime and survivalist for sure.
I would welcome the challenge and would love to be a 'hunteress' for food and stuff LOL
Oh and I would be swimming all the time too and get really fit!
I would also be the decorator of our new straw homes:)*
