Evil Nurse gets 30 years for killing patients  

That's what I'd love to know, that would be my first question to him Why on earth did you choose to work with elderly patients? Surely with the thousands of different types of career you could have gone into why choose one you hated? Beggar's belief isn't it. Sounds like Nurse Ratchett on One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. I think he should have been in the asylum by the sounds of it. To be honest it wouldn't make me any more or less cautious because you can't tar all the medical profession through one bad and rotten apple. I have seen nurses who have given me the creeps and I wouldn't trust them with my lives, yet others I see as guardian angels, luck of the draw, like in life my friend

I am cautious about anyone until I know them.. This reminds me, though different story, of when my daughter had taken animal care in school and this one classmate would be mean to the classroom cat..Why did this kid sign up for this program if they only want to hurt the animals? Fortunately he left before the kids had gotten into more independent responsibilities..

I agree with the thought of "why would he choose such a career?" It really makes no sense why he would do these things, and apparently not expect to get caught. I'm sorry, but if there are 30 deaths in a hospital, they will investigate.

So sad for these people's families. It does not matter that they were elderly, they deserved to be able to say goodbye to their families, and pass away when it was their time.

That man needs to get life for his crimes. So sad.

I think some people just have certain jobs for the money, not because they like it. Its so sad that these things happen because it doesnt help the stigma of nursing homes. We all have parents and more than likely will have to worry about their health. Good nursing homes exists . but You have to be on top of everything.
This is very sad. My prayers go out to this family.

30 years!?!?!?! thats all he got. He killed mulitiple people and all he gets sis 30 years. Hell you get more than that on certain drug charges. So why such a simple sentence? are drugs worth more than the human life now a days? and youre right. why be a nurse. now the world is at your fingertips, so why do something youre not happy doing? he should get way more than 30 years.

Well, he should have kept to doing his responsibilities. He deserves the consequences. But too bad, you can't really help the victims from the past. Just have to prevent it from happening in the future.

OMG there are nurses like these! Was he insane? He is heartless! He probably has become used to killing patients that it didn't affect him any longer. I wish hospitals would conduct certain psychological tests every now and then on their staff just to monitor their psychological capacity to handle patients. That way, they don't risk having an employee who might be dangerous to their helpless patients.

Now, we all know that the world is not made of only good and better peoples but it has also got a large proportion of anti social elements and the nursing or medical profession does comes from the same social formation which we are a part of.Thus,we do get these sort of hyienous people in this medical caring field also.This does not means that we should not keep faith upon really good and kind medical professionals just due to those dreadful incidents instead we should try to make a mechanism where these sort of people are identified very early.

Gosh there seems to be quite a few of these people about, getting into nursing just lately, it makes me very wary of being in a vulnerable position in hospital. Its like they feel they have this power over people who trust and rely on them to make them better and all the while the person knows that they are going to take your life away. Very scary

things like this happen everynow and then,there was a nurse in west africa recently who mistakenly injected a newborn baby with unscreened HIV infected blood and the child died as a result of that,some nurses also forget injections in the body of some patients and they get complications resulting from such stupid and nasty errors
