 American actor Patrick Swayze, star of Dirty Dancing & Ghost has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer,his agent has confirmed.
However,doctors have said reports that he only had 5 weeks to live were " absolutely untrue ".

Wow i sincerely hope he fulls through this & that he is left alone,to carry on with treatment.
Very sad,he made so many good movies.

I only saw Ghost and that was a sad but wonderful film. I hope he manages to beat it and there will always be rumours, but the press won't let the truth get in the way of a good story as it were. Just goes to show that we are all ticking time bombs x

I didn't particularly like the one where he dressed as a woman, kind of put me off a bit, but I remember him in roadhouse woohoo baby!

My gramdma,mom and one of my sisters have all had cancer, my grandma passed away but the others are fine. So hang in there, with fath and love you'll come through it fine,and yes i am a great fan of yours too and love your movies.

I still remember his fantastic news in Dirty Dancing; I have lost my pastor to this same disease almost three years ago and I have seen him go from being a robust healthy man to a shell of what he was within months. I pray he and his family be encouraged at this time and pray for him folks. He'll be needing it.

6.  chazsgirl (181) | 5 months ago |  he has been my favorite actor since I was 6yrs. old when I 1st saw Dirty Dancing(my favorite movie of all time)- 26yrs ago and he always will be and I cried because he is such a good actoe and such a handsome man. I know he will be fine, my hubbie jokes about him dying which is very not right but I love Patrick to death and know I will be very upset when he dies but it won't be sure, you be your butt on that. He has a small amount of cancer and he will get through this, they found it early enough before it spread and he is being taken care of very much by alot of people and prayers are out there for him.
