|  A boy who is 8, and in the 5th grade 2 years above his age level, for fun took a law school college entrance exam, giving lawmakers wonder if the exam is too easy, but it said he did very very well on the essay and written showing he had a flare for language and expressing himself
Him mom doesn't consider him a genius, she describes him as boy who likes to read and to study, but still have fun and have friends
>My dream is to be a federal judge," the boy said, according to Globo TV's Web site. "So I decided to take the test to see how I would do ... it was easy. I studied a week before the test."<

I think its amazing that he could pass it, and while he is not going ot enroll any time soon, because he still has to graduate first, I wouldn't be surprised if down the road he passes it again, and eventually fulfills his dream of a federal judge.
Do you know any kids who are smart like this, or do you think the test was too easy and he got lucky

| |  Those entrance exams are not easy by any means, you can buy a book to prepare for it though.. I think the kid is very intelligent and has an interest in the area. He said he studied a week, so he has a gift for sure..many people study for months and barely pass it. One of my friends did pass the test, went to law school and graduated, but did not pass the bar exam.

| |  wow man that is very distinctive right there. This kid has to be extremely smart, and has a gift(wisdom). But as the generations are coming along kids are smarter and smarter so this really doesn't phase me too much, i have a smart little cousin also she is in the first grade and she reads fourth grade level so thats pretty good. but back to the kid he is really smart. He is probably going to be very political and most likely get his education possibly in the united states.

| |  I think that there are people who are very talented in the area of test taking. I am one of those people. My kids are too. I do not think that he just got lucky. He probably is smart, and studies well. If he continues to want to be a federal judge, I believe he will make it.

| |  Hello mooch. This boy of eight is very clever compared with his peers. Here in China, we also have some young kids with great talents. Take one of the boys for example. He was only ten and decided to attend CET6, College English Test Band 6. He was so good at using the language and he passed this exam for college students. He was the youngest candidate that year for the exam. It is not easy for him at all because he could pass it while many college students cannot even after a few years of study at college. So I don't think that it is too easy an examination paper for the Brazilian boy since he is only eight without any social experience. He is great and deserves a pat on the back. Thanks for sharing.
