For every buck I earn on here,I get 50 pence.It isnt worth it,lol
Its funny though,our perception of America as the land of bright lights and glitz.Someone somewhere isnt showing us everything.

as a fed watcher it will be interesting to see what they do in the next meeting. to save the dollar they have to raise rates. if they do that stocks will suffer even more. not to mention more people getting kicked out of their homes. if they lower rates the dollar gets pounded again and inflation happens.

I'm trading in forex market and I've followed the sinking of dollar aproximately since 2 month ago.It's may be out of control and I think what FED have done is not effective for the market rightnow .The US economy is now has grow slowly and seem so weak .They have to do more for take the price of dollar back to it right way

Bernanke doesn't enjoy much independence from the current administration. They will do whatever quick fix to the economy for the upcoming election. Try to move to non-U.S.-dollar assets like foreign currencies and stocks.

The real currency is going to other interests (both in and out of country), other parts of the citizenry have been dealing with poor monetary policy or "non real" money (credit, loaning, lending). There is also rampant spending in federal and state government. Factor in bail outs that have been going on plus interest meddling. The currency has less and less worth due to these (and a few others I'm missing at the moment).

The entire story isn't visible either, but a lot of it is. The government is trying to keep the economy afloat for november, especially since history shows people place the blame of economic downturns right at the presidency (Hoover, Bush Sr., Van Buren, W Bush.) Either way, there is plenty to see, and more we've yet to discover.
