 I know that I've brought up this discussion about this show not being appropriate for kids and even agreed that I thought it was a little graphic about things, but I have it on tonight and am almost ashamed to say, tonigh's episode completely cracked me up. It's the episode where Peter has a stroke because of eating a ton of fatty fast food. Don't misunderstand me. I don't think someone have a stroke in real life is funny but this episode is really funny to me. Has anyone else seen this?

Mademe laugh hard too lol..I love all of Family Guts shows..but i also love the Simpsons too..and I dont let my son watch Family Guy because ur right there are alot more adult themed..thought the Simpsons can somedays be bad..my son knows not to repeat anything bad he sees..But if they are going to show them they should later than 7 or 8pm..i would say 10pm.or even 9pm..but i will always love watching family Guy.."ITS FREAKIN SWEET!!" lol..

My oldest wants to know why I am against her watching it, but I have explained to her that it's graphic in some things they talk about or show on there.

I agree, it is NOT a show for kids. Thankfully, on the few occasions I've had it on around my kids, they aren't interested in it. They don't "get" a lot of the jokes.. and I'm fine with that.

| 9. nerdytina (2037) | 2 years ago |  Family Guy is hilarious--but it's definitely a cartoon for adults, not children. I've seen that episode and actually own a few of the seasons on DVD. I don't think it's a bad thing that shows like this can take serious issues, like strokes, and give us a laugh over them. I think it takes some of the weight off and makes us question the whole PC issue.
