Harry Potter

I heard that the author of Harry Potter is going to kill Harry Potter in the end. I am not sure though. I love Harry Potter. My fav. character is Ron, I think that he is so cute.

OMG I love Harry Potter, what a great topic. Well I have not yet read the books but I plan to get them and then my daughter and I will read them together...I love the movies, but the last one I have seen was the prisoner of azkobar so I have not seen the next one yet...Man, this lady is SO creative I can not believe what an incredible imagination she has to have made these GREAT books!!

I can't believe you didn't find any other Harry Potter discussions. I started one and I know there are others because I've responded to at least one other.

That being said, I ADORE the books! I am both really excited to read book 7 and really sad to see the series end. I think it would be terrible for Harry to die in the end, but anything is possible.

I think that RAB has got to be someone other than Regulus Black, because that would be too obvious, but I can't imagine who else it would be. If it was Regulus, then the real locket is probably at Grimmauld Place. I don't know about one Horcrux a careful reader could figure out unless it is something at Grimmauld Place. There was discussion that suggested that Harry himself might be a Horcrux, and that's what caused his scar, but I think that JKR officially said that this was not the case. I think she did anyway.

I've heard that the last word of the last book is scar. I wonder if that's true and if so what the context will be. I wonder so much. I am truly a fanatic!

Rowling has stated that, more so than the other books in the series, the final volume is a continuation of the story line from the sixth book of the series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She has also stated that she has no intention of writing any further books about the Harry Potter characters. As of 2006, she has been working on the stories for over 16 years.
