You know I really liked it up until the end which seemed to end rather ubruptly and left me wanting to see more. The ending ruined it for me as it had such a good buildup. I wouldn't recommend it.

but why? Has got the Oscar, hasn't it?

In my opinion the Oscars and movie critics don't always have the same interest in movies that I do. They will rate a movie bad and I end up loving it, or they rate a movie good and I think it sucks.

Just because something won an Oscar doesn't necesarily mean that it's good.

hi catjane, you were right about it.
I got the movie and I saw it today but I was not impress at all, seems to be a 'non-coloured' movie, nothing special at all. thumbdown

I haven't seen it but I plan on watching it soon. I don't go to the cinema to watch movies, I just download it from the Internet. It's free and more convenient to watch (no need to move to the cinema, no people bothering you at the movie and so on...)

I enjoy sitting in a big theatre and watching a movie on a huge sceen with digital sound and stadium seating. It's a day out. I have a 52" screen with surround sound at home, so enjoy that too, but I wouldn't sit at my computer and watch a good movie.

I guess Vasile said that after dowloaded movies from internet he burnt the movies on a Dvd and watch it on tv screen, as I do sometimes. Thanks for your commentshappy

Because people are not very civilized around here, the pleasure and delight of watching a movie at the cinema, on the big screen turns into a nightmare... That is why I choose to watch movies at home where I can do it peacefully.

I haven't been on a cinema for a long time just because of this and because I don't have much time to spend for myself.
thanks for your response.bye.

I haven't seen the movie... and from what I hear about it I probably won't bother. I heard it is one of the bloodiest movies. I don't like blood and gore.

myLot reputation of 92/100. catjane (509)   ranked 423 out of 25,435 in people  6 months ago

It wasn't that bloody, compared to most of the movies I have seen, but then I am a horror movies lover and the gorier the better woooohahahaha.

myLot reputation of 94/100. Mcbuttero (848)   ranked 1,494 out of 25,435 in people  6 months ago

Oh really? I heard someone talking about a critic that said it was one of the bloodiest movies of all time, or something to that effect. It just looked like a boring movie from the previews I saw for it. I tend to go more for comedy and family movies myself (I have 5 kids so that makes sense I guess!).

My half sister as well as my husband love scary and gory movies. I just can't stomach gore... and scary gives me nightmares and makes me paranoid, lol. You should have seen me watching Hellraiser with my friends many years back. I had my hands over my eyes 99% of the movie. And unfortunately the other 1% I shouldn't have looked. I also watched The Bride Of Chuckie... let me tell you, I've never looked at a Cabbage Patch Doll the same again. LOL It's just not my thing I guess!
