It reads to me like this is a mother in denial. She doesn't want to face the fact that her sons are terrorizing the neighborhood. She needs to see things the way they realty are and get her sons help in stead of blaming the neighbors. Too many times people will not see what their own kids are doing and blame someone else.

He looks mighty cute to be so evil. What happens to this child in school? What do the teacher's say?

Mom might be in denial, the neighbors or their kids maybe lying/exaggerating. Someone clearly needs to do some further investigation here.

well being that I am a therapist by training, If it was true I would not feel like the neighbours were ganging up and of course I would try to get help though it isn't always possible with anti social behaviours.

It would be really sad if the neighbors were ganging up on this family, but I have known kids similar to this boy and they are around..

I have to laugh at your question,"How would you feel if you were the mother and felt that the neighbors were ganging up against you?" It would take a great imagination to consider my son like that, he is a charmer, but I will try to imagine.......I would feel hurt and wonder why they were saying things like that. I would also keep a very close eye and even a video camera on hand for evidence that he wasn't doing those things.

If a child in my neighborhood was doing these things, I wouldn't allow my child around them and like I said above, get that camera out and get the evidence to show the parents..

I can't remember, why they said they put the asbos on the older son..Was he also involved or doing something else?

Sounds to me like the child needs some help. There may be other issues in the home. And this may be his way of venting. THrowing things at other kids is potential harmful to them. And could lead to bigger problems down the road. Not sure what I would do if there was a child like that here.If I was the mother, I'd be looking for help for my kid.

This doesn't even sound believable to me that the kid would actually make people afraid of him. I kind of believe the mom that the neighborhood might be ganging up on them .. he might be a nuisance but I doubt he should be feared.
