I don't have any tattoes and I am so glad because I know I would regret it at my age now. My daughter said she would liek to have a small tattoo and I told her she needs to wait until she is older to make sure that is really what she wants to do to her body.

Ya that true. Wait till she grow a bit older and let her consider carefully about it first before deciding whether to do it or not.

I like them very much .They are very beautiful, imaginative and sensual to look at.Very creative and colorful too.But on the skin of others.I will never have any fad permanently on my skin on an impulse which I will regret later.

I do have a tatoo in my hand, and its pretty cool looking tatoo, which keeps me different from all. And most of my friends like my tatoo too. And ofcourse if ever my kids wanted to have a tatoo on their hands or anywhere, i don't make any interference to them,,, Keep posting!!!

I got my first tattoo when I was 17 and I got another one when I was in my late twenties. I got one more I would like to get. It is expensive and right now have other things I want more. I do not have any regrets for my tattoos. I put them in places that I can hide if I want to. I do not like the idea of having one that I can not hide. It is not that I am ashamed of them it is because I don't think it is appropriate to have tattoos showing in the work place. I do have one though that if I could change it I would. I put it facing the wrong way and I would change it to face a different direction. My daughter wants one but I told her she had to wait till she is older. she is only 14 right now and has wanted one for a couple of years. When she first started asking she wanted things that were for that age period and I think she would have regreted it. She is starting to mature some now and I think she is glad I didn't let her. She wants a belly button ring but that is also going to have to wait.

Great decision to have a tattoo where you can hide and not letting your daughter do it at the age of 14. I think she is too young to make sure decision.

I like my tattoo's and i dont regret they are on my body. i may have placed them elsewhere had i thought about it longte rthough. My kids will have to wait untill they are old enough, or go behind my back to their dad for permission.. in which case i will be fairly angry! I think you should wait to become an adult to make that sort of decision, after all your stuck with it forever!

Its true that they have to grow older before having it done. For me I think I will let them do it when they reached 18.

I think I will be regretful for it. As the skin will look the best without tatoo. Perhaps one day I will be tired of the tatoo picture etc. And it's not easy to remove the tatoo. Besides, some people don't like the people who have tatoos. And you can not join in an army because of it.

Tattoos are ok if they are temporary, or removable in simple words. because in my country, many MNCs doesn't allow tattoo on some places of our body parts, as forehead and visible parts of hand etc.
