Do You Get A Perverse Thrill Out of Being the First to Dip?

Oh yeah, definitely so! Especially peanut butter, because it somehow just tastes better when it's first broken open!

I do get disappointed when I buy something and think I'm going to be the first to use it, and then someone else gets to it first. I'll be like... "But I wanted to go first! Now it's not as good!!!"

Yes I like being the first 'dipper' especially in the Ice Cream, as all the good stuff is right at the top of it!! I'm sorely disappointed if someone else gets to it before me...Lori

Ahhh....see, that's one of the benefits to living on my own. No one dips before me or after me. I am the sole dipper of ice cream, peanut butter, and anything else I want to dip in to.

My waistline has been begging me to get a roommate for years, but it's not gonna happen!

since it's just me and the cats, I don't have that problem. I'm always the first to dip! Hee Hee Hee.

I do like to be the first one to graze the surface of my favourite spreads. There is something special about messing up that pristine surface.

Unfortunately, i suffer from a horrible malady, which makes it nearly impossible for me to be the first to open a jar.

I once spent two hours crying over a jar of baby dills i could not open.

When it comes to jam I have to be the first one in because I am allergic to butter and margarine it annoys me when others dip their knife in after it's been in contact with butter, so you see white bits in with the jam and that's it I won't touch it. I love dipping into the coffee jar because I'm sure the smell is strongest when you first open it, but otherwise I'm not fussed about being a virginal dipper;0)

No i do not worry about who in my house has dipped into something first,as long as it is someone from my house & not someone from outside who sneeked in the back door just to try my new jar of jam & forgot to put the lid back on,they knew it was there because they spied me carry it up the path.

For sure! Especially milk. I hate it when I'm not the first into the milk bottle. Everyone in my family has cooties you see, and so I get the willies if I'm not the first to break*virgin* ground.

On the rare occassion I buy ice cream I love to be the first dipper.
I love the stuff right at the top, where it has melted slightly.
Yum now I want ice cream and it is still almost 3 hours before our shops open.

Hee Hee, Only my eldest and I like peanut butter in our house and even he doesn't eat it that often so I always get first dip - how lucky am I? xxxx
