what do you think is the difference betwwen an MP3 and an iPod?!

I may be wrong, but I believe that "ipod" is the name "Apple" give to their "mp3 players".

"Mp3 player" is the general name for a device (usually hand held) that can store songs in the format "mp3". Some of the portable devices can also hold vidoes and are referred to as "MP4 players" technically, but they are often still referred to as "mp3 players" and even "ipods" even though I though "ipod" was a brand name for Apple's own mp3 players.

I have never owned or used an ipod. My daughter has an MP3 player though. I have used it a few times. I have seen the ipods though and they look alot bigger than the MP3 players. Maybe the ipods hold more songs?

I think that a mp3 is smaller and simpuler than the ipod which needs an adapter and such.

An iPod is an MP3. The difference between an MP3 and an iPod is just that the iPod is more advanced than most MP3's.

MP3 players can play a variety of formats including .mp3 format of audio, whereas ipods only play audio formats supported by APPLE its producer.

its very obvious my dear,an mp3 is a music format which packs more compression for digital music than the older formats and is more portable while an iPod is a name of a music player from apple where you can also play both music and videos at the sametime...
