How many Cups of Coffee do you drink a Day -?

t varies a lot how much coffe I drink. I go without for days and days, then one day I can drink a lot. I am on my second cup today.

Well it is now 15.12 pm here,i got up at around 9am.
So far i have had 4 mugs of coffee.
In fact i shall go make another now,want one?
I also have some yummy scottish pancakes,lovley with butter & jam

I don't drink more than 2 cups...

I also love coffee, that too early in the morning. But stop with 1-2 cups in the mornings. After that I never take coffee or tea. In the morning it is a compulsion but not later in the day. That too if I have it in the evening after six I cannot sleep in the night till about 12 midnight, sometimes more than that. I have to have my sleep or I will not be able to work the next day.
So I stop in the morning after 10 itself.
Too much coffee is also bad for health. Please you coffee drinkers bring down your amount. Sip if you want to but do not take the full cup. Slowly reduce the amount of intake.. All the best

I drink 1/4 cup every 2 hours. I used to drink one full cup an hour. I'm doing a very good job of cutting back, but I can't quit it altogether... I live in the Seattle area, and that just wouldn't be right!LOL!

I'm not a coffee drinker. Once in a while I'll have a cup of tea. Most of my "drinking" is diet soft drinks and more often than not I go for the caffeine free versions of diet pepsi if I can. I've been trying to make sure I get lots of water in too. I'm a lot better at diet pepsi than water! LOL

akhilarya, how are you? Normally I drink about 3--5 cups a day due to my crazy work schedlue. I see some people drink 10 or more cups, that is too much, and I just can't drink that much

You are right, akhilarya, it is just too much to drink a lot of coffee and it can make you really nervious.

I love my coffee and that's all I really drink. I make two 12 cup pots a day. I am the only one here so I have it all to myself. I find that it's dehydrating but I will try to get some water into me as well. I will try your method and see how I do for I really need to cut back on how much I am drinking coffee.

Well, I have noticed that if I am at home I tend not to drink much coffee. Instead, I make sure I have bottles of water to hand, I make green tea and have lots of fresh fruit juices.

But, these good habits soon disappear when I get to work! There is a coffee machine literally next to me, so I end up drinking, drinking and drinking. On a good work day, I'll have maybe five, on a bad, more like eight. I can tell I've drunk far too much as I get spots and feel like I have a headache all of the time.

I think I'll try (again!) to cut down on my coffee intake.
