I have had many an alcoholic beverage have the battery acid effect coming up, goodie!

I worked on an Island resort called Tangalooma.
That is where the name came from.
All I know is they were made in a coconut with lots of different mixers put in them.

Now the big question, do you know how many you drank that night? LOL

Last time I was able to count it was 12.
I do not know how many more I had after that.
The worst part was I had a massive hangover, and it was my turn to clean the bar and dance floor at 5.00 am.

OMG goodie sweets I have suffered many, many hangovers in my time, I have been affected by battery acid syndrome also but I have never had to suffer these effects whilst working - or at least not before a rest and a little sleep! Poor, poor Goodie! xxx

I did not have very much sleep before I had to work Mo.
Never ever again that was just too much for me.

Poor Goodie! I haven't suffered enough to stop me drinking yet although I rarely do these days as i am a social drinker and don't get the chance to do it much these days! xxx

Yikes! I have gotten sick on both Kamikazes and Lasagna! LOL. Vegetable Lasagna, and I don't think I have ever had that same kind of it again.

The really funny part was that I was with a date but it wasn't his dog. It was his friend's dog, who I had the hots for. Blew that chance!!!! The guy I had the hots for was a lead singer in a local band, that did have one hit back in the 1980's. I have reconnected with him via email still following his career and now his kids budding music career, but I dare not tell him.

I'm with you on Tequila, too. It's some nasty, nasty stuff. I have no idea in the world how people do shots of the stuff. I have had it in Margaritas, and it's still too strong for me. But, to just gulp it down? OMG!

I have a few alcoholic beverages that I can't stomach any more; rum, peach schnapps, and goldschlagger come to mind.

My daughter did this last summer all over her first ever Webinz. You would have thought the world was coming to an end. LOL - I felt so bad for her.

Tequila - I will only drink in margaritas. I don't even want to try it as a shot. I use to have a boss who when we would go to happy hour would buy round and after round. I would always ask for a shot of Jack Daniels. I think watching a movie when I was younger, and I can't remember which one, where the worm was in the botle and the guy drank the rum tequila and ate the worm grossed me out. I still get chills thinking about it.

Yeah, sour milk is pretty gross. Has it ever made you sick to drink it?

Ugh, just the idea of Taco Bell makes me cringe. LOL

I remember you saying somewhere else that you didn't eat sausage. I don't blame you. If i'd had the same experience, I would not be able to either, I'm sure.

What kind of cider, LoudnProud? I had the best cider when I was in England and I've never found it since. xboy said it was average, though so I guess my taste buds are not made for cider. LOL

The kind I tried was called Scrumpy Jack. I tried for months to find it in the states when I got back, but we couldn't get it anywhere.

You just about described last night's events for me, mummymo! Spaghetti coming back up is so very unpleasant. At least it didn't have tomato and onions on it. How awful!

Awww poor d! Hugs (((((((((d)))))))))))! I do hope you are feeling better now sweets! If it ever happens again get some ice cream down you (strawberries too if you can) ok you might throw it back up but it has a very soothing effect and tastes quite nice too (even when it reappears!) xxx

Really? Ice cream? I love it, of course, but I didn't think it would be ideal for an after puking treat. LOL

I'm fine today although quite tired. It was just brought on by a choking episode. Third time in the last month I think that this has happened.

Oh, yeah...very true, kfrisk. The stomach acid seems to be the worst on your throat, too.
