Your first video game |
|
Which game was the first video/computer game you played? I remember the first video game I tried was Super Mario brothers. I was once addicted to video games..used to visit those video game parlours regularly. My parents got me a 386 machine to play games. I loved playing those DOS games Digger, Pacman, Dave are some of the games I remember playing on that comp. I used to play TV video games too. I had this craze of collecting video game cassettes. I have a good collection.

1. Marcola (1743) | 2 years ago | I'm still addicted to video games and Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt were two of the first games I played. I think I played Pong before that, though. I've accumulated a massive collection I have to this day.

Marcola (1743) | 2 years ago | I used to be terrible at Duck Hunt. I had to hold the gun right up to the screen and even then, once I got to round 13, it was Game Over. I sold my first Nintendo to buy a Nintendo 64. A few years later, I started longing for all the classics that I missed out on and some that I used to have. When my sister gave me her Nintendo, I was basically reliving my childhood when I got to play Duck Hunt again. Man, was that awesome for me!

2. Modestah (7932) | 2 years ago | you will have to bear with me here as it has been many many moons since my first video game.
When I was quite young in elementary school my father purchased a television video game system called Odyssey it was the first time such a concept was introduced to me. We played such things as Pong and Tennis and hangman and Pit. wow, those were such simple graphics and you know what? we still had a great time!!! then came the atari - with frogger and kaboom, Pacman and Ms Pacman and donkey kong.... wow!

Screech (413) | 2 years ago | Yes we now have Xbox, Wii with extreme graphics. Donkey kong had that weird sound!

3. miller1978 (952) | 2 years ago | Duck hunt was the first game I ever played and it was on the basic Nintendo system. After that I started playing Mario brothers. My mom and I would stay up all night long playing that game trying to beat each other's scores. I still occasionally play games now, but they are more of the Need for Speed games.

4. eden32 (2986) | 2 years ago | I think the very first I played was some space invader like game on my mother's friend's watch. It was this big, huge watch that had one black blip that shot other blips into moving blips. I thought it was the coolest watch ever made. The first I played on a game system was Frogger, my cousin had (the original)Atari and that was one of the games she had for it.My mother would never allow video games in the house, because of course video games like TV rot your mind and you should read a book:)

8. HawaiiGopher (567) | 2 years ago | No one started off with Pong or Brick here? How sad. The first game I played was Brick on my dad's old Macintosh.

| |
|
|
Screech (413) | 2 years ago | By Brick you mean Tetris right?
| |
|
|
Modestah (7932) | 2 years ago | yes, pong was one of the first ones for us - we had an Odyssey system that required using static cling graphic sheets that would cling to the television....
when we graduated to atari I loved playing the break away game which was a series of colorful blocks that you bounced a ball across and then paddle back up when it fell through - is this what you are calling bricks?
