 When a man went into a muffler shop waving a gun and demanded money, he was told that the manager who knew how to open the safe was not there.
WEll the man got a brilliant idea he gave his cell phone number to call him when he came in
Instead the shop people opted to call 911 instead.
this is how it played out
>Authorities stationed plain clothes officers in the shop and called the would-be robber back.
The suspect showed up again, and waved his gun around again, but this time was shot in the leg by an officer.
The man had surgery at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and is said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries. <
I'm sorry this is about as dumb as they come and I have to say right now that it may be one of the more unusual cases that police have seen, its down right funny and it will be one of hte ones that is not soon forgotten.
