i've been playing in the dirt this morning!  

i did that last year. i bought some herbs to be planted outside (i live in canada and its safe to plant here after mid may) and i bought a little tray to plant them in, put them by the window to get some sun and my kitty ate them! :-(

Thats awesome! I would love to plant vegetables and even flowers if I had a yard. But I live in a apartment. I do however haver two indoor plants that I love! I love flowers. Espically in the spring when they first bloom! Have a good day today!

I had my seeds out the other day... and for the life of me... don't know where I sat them down. My house is a disaster cause i am doing MAJOR spring cleaning... yard sale a week from this coming Saturday! LOL I have been pricing and going thru almost EVERYthing!SO I need to go find my seeds today and get those started!!Good for you!!!

I put some seed in little peat pots the other day. Cucumber, tomato and various peppers. I put some flower seeds in an egg carton yesterday.

I sure hope this stuff sprouts! I'll be putting beans and sugar snap peas in the ground against the house, but most everything else will be in containers.

That reminds me, I was going to save my empty egg cartin and threw it in the trash. I was going to do the same thing. Good luck with your starter plants.

We have a garden planned but growing the sprouts inside would be a disaster. Too many reckless animals to dig them up indoors. Can't say much better for when we do it outside either. The deer at teh first tomatoe plants we planted out there. Last years just dried up.
Maybe next week mother nature will calm down enough for us to get them started.

I wish I could have a garden but I really don't have te space for it, and its not my yard to do as I please, if I had my way I'd clear some of the trees along the back fence and plant some tomatoes and veggies back there, but then I'd have the bunnies back to eat the leaves.

Maybe some day I will own my own house....

I don't think I will do any planting this year simply because I will be having surgery on my foot soon (I hope)

How I wish to have a small garden here in my place, because I love planting and i love vegetables. I still remember my mother when we are still in our province she used to plant different kinds of vegetables in our back yard. And now we are now moved here in the city we have no place to put some garden. And I don't think it will grow healthy and fresh because of to much pollution.

My mum is the green fingered gardener in our family and she is always growing vegetables, runner beans, carrots, radishes, runner beans, beetroot, onions! Nothing better than to taste home grown vegetables from the garden, freshly picked, no chemicals on them, ripe to eat and tasty too. We don't have the hot weather so cannot grow the real exotic fruits and vegetables. Good luck with your plants my friend! Mmmm watermelon tasty!

My husband is the one with the green thunb. I hope I can talk him into gardening for me I love fresh vegies! I bought a few packs of seeds last time I was at the store, now I just need to wait for as you said the last mid-Tenn. frost. the way the weather is around here, that may not be untill May! Tennessee is so weird, but I love it.
