what makes a good movie...  | |  so there's this movie that the critics have been raving about, made it at the top of the box office, starred by the most popular moviestar in the world, yet when it was your turn to watch you just didn't like it. you think your taste has gone low, right? well, wrong.
we often think that good reviews always guarantee a good movie. yes, most of the time. but there are just some moments when we just don't agree and we feel bad about it. they are the experts after all.
don't despair though. remember, you are the paying public and it's you that matter most. a good movie should leave a good impression in you. something that would last for a long time. something that you wanna watch time and time again. next time you're plaaning to watch a movie, don't read the reviews. surprise yourself.

and also watching movies that inspired from books will give a dissatisfaction, due to some changes made my the directors... and without noticing it you already spoil the movie..
so better yet, watch the movie first before reading the books, i suggest. in that way we will have a broad imagination while reading the book and can fully understand every details... hehehe
