Does anyone know of any fat burning foods? It seems I am eating all the wrong foods because I keep gaining weight. I was told to eat protien but what are the foods that have protien besides meats? I would like a list of foods that burn fat. If anyone has lost 10 pounds or more in a month please let me know how you did it.

All foods have protein to various degrees.

Bread, potatoes, pasta and cakes have the highest amount of calories and will make you gain weight.

There is no such things as foods that burn fat.

You have to make your body burn the fat by exercising your muscles.

The less exercise you do... the less you eat. That's how people stay slim. They don't eat for an hobby. They only eat when they are hungry. But when food becomes an addiction... you are always hungry... just like a smoker always need a cigarette.

Really, meat is the only protein they want to talk about, but you can eat all the green leafy veggies you want - celery basiclly takes more calories to digest then you get from it - but still has vitamines (I loath it and won't eat it myself.) Most of the other cabbages - broccoli and cauliflower are also good. Carrots count as carbs, tho if you need vit. A they are all right in small quanities.

I haven't lost the weight, but I cook for my client who was told to go on a low carb diet because of her elevated blood sugars.

I am a fat person, but managed to lose some weight, I think you need to have a balanced diet - don't have too much of just one thing. For one, eat lots of fibrous food - like fruits, vegetables, and grains (oat meal is great). You also need to move to burn calories. As for proteins, I think beans and legumes are protein rich foods. You can search the net for some tips, or just like the other responses here, you may opt to check with a doctor and/or a dietician because not all diet programs work for all. Some of us have unique body chemistry so it's best to know which will work for you. Good luck!

10 pounds or more in a month! You must be joking.
I also have problems loosing weight. In fact, I only have to eat one wrong meal per week &I gain weight.
You seem to have two separate questions.
There are quite a few non-meat protein foods. Are you vegetarian?
Try low fat milk, low fat cheese, low fat yogurt, some breads contain quite a bit of protein, any soy product, lentils, etc.
As for fat burning foods, here are some:
