Have you attended free/paid Seminars or presentations?  | |  What seminars or presentations have you attended? Do you find them useful? Pls. feel free to share your experiences.
My mate and I attend seminars every once in awhile. We have gone to several from real estate, to stockmarket, how to sell on ebay, time-sharing etc. and find them informative though they would of course want you to buy their products or use their services afterwards.
We were invited twice to sit on time sharing presentation, whether you buy or not they give you something for your time. We were approached the first time in Whistler where they gave us two free tickets for zipping which would cost $75 each. We gave the tickets to our two kids to enjoy it. Last year we got 2 Canucks game tickets and a cruise.
Today we went to a finance seminar that gave us bits and pieces of information on ways how to make things tax deductible, pay off mortgage fast and at the same time saving for retirement etc. I found it interesting but it will take another appointment with this firm to completely understand how their system work.
