phishing emails: designed to get my bank/credit card details etc
Nigerian scam emails: similar to above
investments: pumping and dumping stocks, buying stocks really cheap, sending out a bunch of emails recommending the stock, then dumping the stock if/when people buy it
medications: various "enhancement" pills, creams, patches
bot net mails: get control over your computer if you click the link in them. Some bot nets have over a million computers on them, and with that sort of computing power under your control, you can hack into a lot of systems | |
