 I love paranormal romances, but I feel like I have been reading the same authors and noone else.
Who is your favorite paranormal romance author and why??

Excuse me for sounding dumb but i have never read anything like that or maybe I have and forgot about it.

I think one of the authors that writes some of those books is called Mary Janice Davidson. She writes this series about a vampire queen. They are really good books. I think she's writting new books in that series. | |

| LexaNightShadows (953) | 7 months ago | I have all of Mary Janice Davidsons vampire queen books - I think I read somewhere that she has a new one coming out late this summer or early fall - have to wait for the paperback version though, don't like the price of hardcovers! LOL!!

| 2. sherrylwatts (255) | 7 months ago |  LOL - Have to laugh at the title, but one of my favorite authors is listed under both of these categories, although I think I would classify her as paranormal mystery. Hooper (think the first name is Kate). Has a series about a FBI unit that is set up to use paranormal senses. Great books!!!

3.  castratton (117)  | 7 months ago |  I like all kinds of paranormal fiction. Some of the authors I read are Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, Lora Leigh, Laurell K. Hamilton, Carrie Vaughn, JR Ward, Kinley McGregor (sp?), Kresley Cole, Bertrice Small (Hetar series), Lynn Viehl, Diana Gabaldon (not quite the same genre, but different from "normal" stories. Thats all I can think of right now but if you want anymore authors or anymore information on these authors definitely let me know. If you have any good ones to recommend for me I'd appreciate it.

I actually have a few books from all the authors you mentioned but I haven't gotten to them yet so I didn't recommend them. I'm glad to hear that they are good. As soon as I finish reading the series by Lynn Viehl, which was one I recommended, I'll start on one of them. Which one out of all of those is your favorite? | |

| LexaNightShadows (953) | 7 months ago | Right now it's a toss up between Christine Feehan and Mary Janice Davidson. Christine Feehan writes on a slightly more serious vein and Mary Janice Davidson writes a little irreverently and jokingly. So I guess it depends on whether you are in the mood for a bit of a giggle or not.
I find myself out right laughing sometimes with Mary Janice!
