Waiting on test results again

I have been suffering from RSD now for the past 4 years and have had a dorsal column stimulator implanted to help control the pain. Recently my hip has been bothering me and was sent for a CT of the area and have to have a new EMG/NCV done to help rule out more nerve damage.

What bothers me is the timea person has to wait for the test results when the doctors know that day what the films say. They should at least have the common courtesy to call and say hey buddy your results are in and the films show something or not. I did pick up my ct scan films to be taken to my doctor but that isnt for a few more weeks. Being the nosy person I am I tried to read the report to get a clue and of course it is all greek to me but from what I can tell there is something wrong. Like I need the scan to tell me that.The pain in my hip is totally new to what I have been experienceing with the RSD. If I stand or sit to long the pain increases and if I lift my leg wow I know it. The bad thing is with the wonderful internet the words in the report all refer to bone cancer and that scares me to death. I wish for once the dr's would be straight with me and not make me wait for the test results. My time is just as important as his is and it would be easier if they could call and inform me over the phone instead of making a special trip into the office and paying a high doctors bill just to be told what the films said.
