What do you think is the best age to take a child to Disney World |
|
My son is going to be 13 in two years - we will be moving in two years as well - I figured, before we move, I would take him to Disney World (not up hubby`s alley, unfortunately). I took my cousin to Disney when she was 13 and we had a blast. What age do you feel is best for this. Lexa

1. captainmorgan (218) | 4 months ago | Well I have never been there myself, but from what I hear there are alot of great things to do, no matter what age you are. Since there are so many rides, you are most likley going to find something that is suitable for your son's age. There are also games and other exciting things. I am 16, and I would love to go to Disney World, but my parents have never taken me, as we live very far away. In my opinion, you should take your son to Disney World before you move. I'm sure he'd be thanking you for the longest time.

| 3. MoxieNox (43) | 4 months ago | I remember going there when I was a kid, so the memories really carries on with me. So I would say the best age to experience it for the first time at around 5 years. To see their eyes fill up with awe and wonderment when they see Disney characters walking down the streets. *hugs* ~Moxie

4. callarse1 (2326) | 4 months ago | Hello LexaNightShadows, my parents didn't have the money to take us when I was little. My brother and his wife got a place (via their time share) back in August 2005. Their baby was six months at the time. He had a fun time there, and to be honest I did, too. It makes you feel young again. However you asked what the best age would be. I would probably say two years and up. Although the baby had fun, it can be hard because the baby has to have naps and things. I'm thinking older children would have more fun. I would say your son will have lots of you. I'm sure you will, too. Disney World is awesome and there's so much to do and explore:) Pablo

5. angemac23 (950) | 4 months ago | I think between 11 and 13 is the perfect age to take kids to Disney. They are old enough remember it and young enough to appreciate it! My parents took me to Disney World when I was 9 and although I know I had fun and remember bits and pieces of it, I don't remember all that much...

LexaNightShadows (956) | 4 months ago | I think that my son will remember it when I take him there. I really think everyone should go when they are a kid and revisit when they are adults - not necessarily with kids tagging along, LOL!! I loved the Pirate area, and it's a small world - I remember them the most. Thanks for commenting. Lexa
