Disney World or Disney Land - Which is better  | |  Have you been to Disney World and Disney Land - Which is better
I want to take my son to one or the other - probably Disney World - in two years but I was wondering which would be better to go to.

Have lived in Calif for years since I was born there and went to Dissyland lol numerous times even went when they first opened..have a micky driving a firetruck that my grandparents bought me..wonder what its worth? lol..since I don't live there now than you couldn't visit but if you go to Florida you could meet Shad and Crone. Now I want to go boo hoo.

Heh. I live 2 hours away (I got a lead foot, but it's really 3 hours away, lol)from Disney World. I've never been to the one in Calif, but I've been coming to the one in Fla since I was like.. ummmm... omgs.. 5 years old. I plan to take my kids when my son's 5 years old. I would say Disney World is better because there's Epcot (awesome, AWESOME!) You can visit different 'countries' around the world and sample different cuisines, as well as learn new cultures.. There's also Animal Kingdom, where I took the pictures of the "Tree of Life" that I sent you. It's a sight to see in person. There's so much to do at Disney World so you'll need at least a week to check everything out. There's the Buena Vista village also right by that you can do your shoppings at.. Rose's right, bring a LOT of money.. You're better off going during the 'off-peak' seasons which would be in between the holidays and school recesses..

| kelly1961 (9) | 4 months ago |  We were going to go to Disneyland this November, but after some consideration, I think we are heading to WDW in late 2009 (we were there in 2003) For us it's a big decision, since it's a lot longer to get there! We are in Alaska...the kids really like WDW though, there is a lot to see and do. My daughter is into Harry Potter so she wants to go to the new theme park they are working on, it should be done towards the end of 2009.
I honestly think either one would be fine, I love Disneyland too, and I've never seen California Adventure or the other new parts.
