What do you like best about your home, state or country?

If it were up to me I would move, but I have kids in school and it would be mean to pull them out to move to another State, plus my wife doesn't want to leave her mom. I am not fond of where I live, but at least we don't get huricanes or earthquakes here (knock on wood on the earth quack quote), we do get tornadoes though. I guess some people would say that they like the change of seasons here.

I live in Tulia, TX and love the quiet and the open spaces. love the people here my husband grew up here and moved me here 2 years ago.

Well out of all the states that I've been to, my favorite part of Oregon are all the trees and the green grass. I guess that's why we're called a green state, lol. Another thing, we have a LOT of rain, and I do mean a LOT. But the summers are bearable. I couldn't imagine living somewhere, where it gets so hot that you have to stay in doors with air conditioning just to survive... lol I know I'm exaggerating, but I seriously can't take much over 100 degree weather.

We have a lot of forests and parks... I'm not much for hiking, but we do have some nice, tame trails too that are nice for light walking and the scenery is beautiful.

I heard that Texas has some monster sized bugs. My uncle did some long haul trucking for a while and told a funny story about getting out of the truck at a rest stop and they were everywhere. One jumped at his neck and he swore it was going for his jugular, lmbo!

I like it very much that I am in a smaller town now. It has its advantages when people know you a bit, I find it nice when my husband goes shopping for groceries and when I come home from work later in the evening he tells me hi from that nice woman who works in the bakery selling bread or hi from our doctor whom he met at the supermarket.

I miss my country and I love it..Philippines..The people, simple lifestyle, food, beaches and less expensive too..I love shopping there!

I am about 1 hr wsw of you there in Ft Worth. We LOVE Texas and wouldn't live anywhere else unless forced at gunpoint. LOL! You know all us Texans are crazy guntoting fools anyways.;) Yes, country Texas folk are the friendliest of any state I have ever been through. You live Texas and people just stop waving back at you.:) Don't you think Texans are like a whole nother breed, like they have their own country or something? Good to see you!
