when your friend/s borrows things from you, did they return it back to you?

No. They think you want to get raid of it thats why you let them borrow. I don't let my friends to borrow things that i'm using or i'm going to use.just practical

well i dont remember much so i had lost many things to my frnd and others.i gave so many cd's and audio cassetse and cash and yet i havent received all of it.its really bad because it kind of puts a barrier in between me and them when something like this happens.makes me wonder can i really trust his/her word after wht sh/he did to me.but then i m a very light hearted guy so forget it all.

same thing happens with me, and yes i too sometimes don't get back the things my friends borrow from me. now the question arise what should you do in this case? response to this happening differ from individual to individual, some get back their things forcibly at the cost of their friendship, other directly ask them to return his/her stuffs and some even forget about the things their friends have borrowed from them. which response is appropriate? well i prefer to ask them directly in a polite way to return my things back to me.

i usually get back the things i lend out because if I don't I won't lend them any thing else untill I do.

Hello dear rhane. I do have such thing happen to me. One was a student, whom I did not ever teach, asked me to lend him one hundred RMB, but never mentioned to return it to me. Another one was my American colleague, who asked to lend him seven hundred RMB and said that he would return it me later on, but many years has passed without any information from him. That is ok as I do not care too much about it. I just think that it is some kind of help to them. But to me, when I borrow money from my friend, I will remember to give it back to him or her in the shortest possible time so that I won't forget about it because I do not want to get myself embarrassed for it later on when my friend reminds me of this. for sure she will not return it back to you, since that is a collective item, i guess? and i think she also love that laminated card, and she really maybe fond of that anime so she just can't return it back... but maybe it intentional, but i know if she borrow something that she need, she would return it, it just that she can't resist to have that card... hehhe...

my friends return everything they borrowed but the sad thing is they are look like a trash... heheh, but it's ok. i do the same in return... LOL! that make us even... hahaha, well that is just for fun.. hahaha, of course if they are very valuable i/they return it safely, but sometime it took a few months or even a year/s before they returned it...

Yes,I always return the things I borrowed fromothers as soon as possible.But some of my friends also don't do it.May be they forget it or think there is no need to return.I think that is a bad manner.We should use the others' things if they don't agree.

I hear you, some of my friends borrowed things (mostly books) from me and never returned it, it's quite annoying, now I'm wary about lending them my things. I always make sure to return things I borrowed within the specified time frame.

mostly they do return and sometimes they wont and even i dont tress them unless it is badly required ...

Maybe your friend forgot that.You can take the things back by reminding them indirectly.As to me, I care the money or so a lot.So I will always borrow things from others, and never lend things to others. which may be a personal character of mine. However,I will return the things to the owner soon,when I have used it.
