yes and i didnt like it cuz it was by a girl tht was cheating on me and didnt think i knew about it.

One of my ex's dedicated a song by Madonna Crazy for you and they actually made a cassette (pre dvds) going back a bit I know with Madonna's Crazy for you on it that was the first song there were other songs on there as well dedicated to me, but I can only remember that one. It was the way they felt about me and it was the first time anyone had done that to me so I was quite chuffed, I don't have the cassette any more but I can still play the song and not feel maudlin!

Not specifically one song but, a tape of songs back when the hubby and I had just started dating. There were some love songs in there and other songs that just sort of reminded him of me and then me of him. That is how I learned of the bands Lowest of the Low and the Barenaked Ladies before the BNL's made it from Canada to the US.

The hubby and I had a long distance romance from Ohio to NY state for a year before we decided to move to Georgia together. So, we had to do stuff like make tapes for one another to just comfort one another while we couldn't see each other.

But, until then, no one had ever "dedicated" a song to me or even made me a mixed tape.

And, my hubby is really thoughtful. For him to have chosen the music he chose for my tape, each song meant something to him. The lyrics of each of those songs spoke to him. They weren't just a tape full of songs that he liked. They each said something special to him that reminded him of me. I still have it.
