Writer's Market  |

 If you write well, there is a book that you can usually find in the library call Writer's Market. It comes out once a year and lists all the magazines you can submit your work to. They pay better than the internet, but you have to find one that takes unpublished writers (unless of course you are published!). Usually you must query them first though. Check this book out, it gives you way to much information than I can describe here. But if you are serious about writing, this is a great book to help you break into the market.

1.  ShardAerliss (639) | 2 years ago |  Ooh, never heard of that one. There is one that my partner gets (well, I get it for him) every year called Writers' and Artists' Handbook that is a similar thing. Not just magazines but agents and publishers too.
There is also the Writers' Handbook... not sure what the difference is but my partner prefers the first one.
I wonder if they are the same thing, just published under different names in different countries?

The 2007 Writers' and Artists' Yearbook is a 100th Anniversary Edition.

The 2007 is the 86th edition put ouut by Writers Digest Books and edited by Robert Lee Brewer and Joanna Masterson.
