I think the beach cottages or anything near the beach, like you say, is the best investment..people love the beach and will pay the price to be near the water..you cant lose with beach property I feel gie..
I agree with you for the real estate, that would be my first choice.
Also, I would like it to be here in Massachusettes as the state is very liberal and can attract a lot of tourists. Good tourist traffic you see?

Well I think as with any investment there are risks... but right now with the housing market (in most places) struggling... now might be a great time to buy. I love watching that show "Flip this house" and seeing them go in to a dump and make a huge profit. My husband keeps wanting to do that. But at the same time... it may take a while for the market to bounce back. There is a possibility of having a long wait for that! But if you're able to invest now and wait on it... that could be lucrative. Buy now while it's cheap and sell later when the prices skyrocket.

Hello dear gPOr. I agree with you that it is a good investment to buy real estate property. It helps you to get more profit than to deposit the spare money in the bank. I also got one and have it rented for a couple to use the street shop to do whatever business they like. I do not like to deposite money in the bank at all if I have enough to do some investment. It is always taken out for some investment to make more profit. Thanks for your discussion and I hope that your investment will benefit you a lot with luck.

I would love to be able to invest in real estate but money is very tight for us right now. We can barely afford to pay our own bills right now. I would love to own some beach property also and live there myself. I love the ocean.
