OK, I'm addicted!!!

It's some skill, some chance... ALL addicting! I could just play it for hours. As soon as tax season's over I think I'll be sitting here just playing and playing and playing...

Oh I know, the badge challenges can get frustrating - especially if it's one you don't like. But this one should be fun when it comes out for a challenge.

You might like the new solitaire, it's kinda cool.

I found with the shuffle bump or whatever it was, that I got the badge done quicker if I played against the computer. For some silly reason when I played against a person they always had to knock me off the 10's even if it didn't benefit them for the badge. That was very frustrating.

I only won one game playing against the Robots! I gave up!

Did play the addiction solitare and only won one game, but I played it way past the time I should have already been in bed, so needless to say, I am a bit tired today!

I've played addiction on another site a long time ago and really liked it then. I'm glad pogo has it and I think you'll get the hang of it after a while.

I have already gotten a scooter for my mini - I probably wont use it, but it's cool to have the free stuff.

>After the initial "Welcome to Pogo™ Addiction Solitaire!" pop-up, you will be prompted to click OK. Note also that there is a tutorial On/Off switch. The tutorial defaults to "On" and has some useful information, so if you are a first time player we recommend you keep it on. You can click the tutorial "off" at any time when a message pops up. When you click "OK" on the welcome screen, the game will start.

The game begins with a deck of 52 cards randomly placed upon 52 spaces (4 rows deep and 13 rows across). Shortly after the cards are dealt, the Aces will fly off screen, leaving 4 empty spaces. You will start the game with 3 reshuffles available (displayed just below the card area). As mentioned in the Basics section, your goal is to arrange the cards so that all cards of the same suit occupy the single rows in ascending order (2s to Kings). You do this by moving a card into the empty spaces, following the rule that the card placed is one value higher and the same suit as the card to the left. Kings, then, become blockers and enough Kings to the left of empty spaces will force you to Undo (this can be done up to the last reshuffle), reshuffle (which shuffles the out-of-order cards), or use power-ups to continue. When you are out of reshuffles and power-ups, and the undo button fails to get you unstuck, you will have to start a new game (which will bring up your score and tokens won).

You can move cards in one of two ways; you may click on an eligible card or click on the empty space. Either of these methods will move the card to its proper place - it's that easy! There is one situation; however, where moving cards takes an extra step. If there are multiple left-most spaces open (where the 2s go), you must click on the 2 and then click on the spot where you'd like the 2 to move. If you click on the empty left-most space first, you will then be prompted to click on the 2 you would like to move. Note that once cards have been placed in sequence, they are locked into place and cannot be moved. <



Once you get the hang of it, it is really easy to do, and if you remember to use your shuffles and power ups, getting ranks is made really easy. the pwer ups one will allow you to move any card you want to any empty space you want, the other one removes a king from the deck, and you have 3 reshuffles to use...

Its a really fun game, I've played it on Gamehouse before, so I knew the basics of the game.....

thanks for the information about the gameplay. that just isn't my game. lol i find it boring and not knowing how to play yet.

I think I only have one of the mini items, that's basically what I'm playing for. I do love the game though - I played it somewhere else eons ago and was addicted then. If I'm not too tired, I try to strategize and win in the fewest reshuffles. I usually don't pay attention to the ranks though, takes too much brain power for me these days.
