I don't play any musical instrument any more.But i alwayes want to,i often think one day i could play one instrument well,i love piono,because i feel it ia graseful,i like to listen to it.and it is so expensive that i don't have enough money to buy it,when i thought this,i often feel pity.

I don't play any instruments very well, but I am teaching myself guitar, piano, and flute. I have some older cousins that are able to play various instruments really well and I have always admired them for it, so now I am learning some instruments too - but I have to teach myself because lessons are so expensive!

Its good that piano and guitar are so popular because I can find lessons and music online that I can learn, but flute is a little more difficult for me to learn on my own because its not as common.

i've played the bass for like 30 years now. i play a Fender Precision bass. i uploaded a picture of one if you look towards the top of the screen(red on blue background)also, if you look at my avatar, that's one of my inspirations. that's Steve Harris from Iron Maiden. he plays a 1969 vintage Fender Precision. When I was young, (Jr. High & High School)I played violin in the school orchestra but disliked my instructor so much I finally quit. My father always played guitar and I started to sneak his out when he wasn't around and eventually taught myself how to play it. My father and I sang together since I was a kid and that was my inspiration to learn how to play.

I grew up on country music but in the sixties I performed folk music in coffee houses around the Chicago area. After serving in the Army I decided to switch to country music and have been playing and singing it ever since. I have a small collection of guitars and have sold some I wish I had back.

What ever instrument you decide to play, hang with it, practice a lot and don't get discouraged. The more you play the better you will get. By the way, lesson from a kind, talented and patient teacher are well worth the money.

I always wanted to learn to play the piano and we grew one with one in the house that no one learned to play! I did learn to play the ukelele when I was in the 6th grade in elementary school, but I have no idea how to play anymore. My teacher at school taught a group of us and we put on a "Hootanany" (not spelled correctly, I'm sure) at school and that's the only time I remember playing except to drive my family crazy practicing. My sister told me when we were grown that if she heard the song Puff the Magic Dragon, one of the songs we learned, one more time she was going to hit me with the ukelele!!

my parents sent me to a piano teacher when i was 8, and at 9 i learned to play flute, at thirteen i learned violin, and now im still playing those instruments, and im now struggling to learn the guitars, i almost forgot i leaned the harp before i go to school, but i dont play it now..

I play the guitar and bass guitar, and can pick a little on the piano. I'd like to learn to play a mandolin or fiddle next...heehee.

I can play the piano the guitar and the drums. I love improvising but unfortunately I didn't finish all my music grades so I'm not very good in side reading (being able to play the music when a random music score is put infront of you.) I would love to spend a summer improving my skills.. Also I want to learn how to play the saxophone. I hear you need a really good set of lungs for it

i came from a musically inclined family. i am a bassist, i play electric base guitar and acoustic base guitar. i also can play rhythm guitar and a little of keyboards.
