What size USB Flash Drive are you currently using?  

Yeah, with the size of games nowadays, a larger flash dive is handy. I use mine for transferring games every once in a while too. I regularly need my flash drive for transferring video files, so a large flash drive is a necessity for me.

I have never had the opportunity to use a TwinMos flash drive. How reliable is TwinMos? Where dis you get yours from? The compact nature of the flash drive is definitely it's best feature. Fits in your pocket and can be taken anywhere. If you are a mobile user, then the USB flash drive is quite an asset.

I purchased my 8GB flash drive at a time when it was necessary for me to have a portable storage device with greater size. I found a good deal at the right price point. $30 for the 8GB version vs. $20 for the 4GB variety. I choose to go with the added size for a slight increase in expense. I am glad that I did because the extra storage room has come in handy over and over again and, therefore, I have saved my self considerable time in the process.

The good thing about the USB flash drives is that, much like DVD burners or digital cameras, the price points stay roughly the same as new better models are released. Soon the 8GB will be priced where the 4GB version is now, the 16GB where the 8GB is, the 32GB where the 16GB is and the 64GB model will be released. I choose to let others pay more for the latest and greatest, and then get a better deal when my storage needs change or my equipment needs replacing.

Yes, the price does fall rapidly when a new model is released. I would most likely purchase a larger drive if the prices dropped quiakly, but at present a 1Gb is more than adequate.

I also like to wait and upgrade only when necessary. In the long run, your work will be just as efficient and you'll save more money that way as well.

I like the fact that the USB hard drives have become smaller. They don't cost that much more than a conventional internal drive either. I was considering acquiring a 500GB Western Digital model when they went on sale a few months back at Best Buy, but I just didn't need that much space so I didn't make the purchase. The USB hard drives are a great option for users who have a need to transport very large amounts of storage or for those who no longer have the required space on the motherboard for additional storage to be added.

I don't see any point in purchasing more than you need either. That's why I waited until I was at the point where my current equipment was no longer sufficient to perform required tasks before I upgraded.
