Baby showers  | |  I've been told that people who've had more than one child only get one baby shower is this true? Does it also apply to second and third marriages?

Its considered very tacky to have showers with each new baby, you are supposed to save some of your stuff for any new babies that you might have. Now if you do have a new marriege and your new family wants to give you a shower that is ok, it could be considered tacky to invite the same people from the previous shower, I would play it by ear on who to invite. Some people might get upset if they didn't get invited. Some people are just greedy and have showers with each child just to get as many presents as they can get. You have to use your own judgement for having more then one shower.
